Overview
As part of his ongoing ambassadorship with On Running, Rory Bradshaw curated The Slow Down Salon, an immersive community-led event designed to counter the pressures of constant performance and end-of-year burnout. Hosted at SALT Salon in December, the experience brought together movement, mindfulness, music, and self-care, offering attendees space to pause and reset during the busiest time of the year.
Creative Ally supported Rory in shaping the concept through to the event day, ensuring the experience authentically reflected his mission to redefine masculinity and prioritise wellbeing through connection and intentional living.
Details
The event unfolded across two parts: a slow-paced morning run and a guided mindfulness session, followed by an afternoon of conversation and self-care.
Rory hosted a panel with Author and Poet David Larbi, DJ and Founder of B.A.D Niks, and musician Louis VI, exploring themes of balance, softness, creativity, and community. Guests also experienced self-care moments, live music, and DJ sets, creating a restorative and inclusive environment rooted in connection.
The Slow Down Salon demonstrated Rory’s ability to translate his digital mission into meaningful real-world experiences. By bringing together diverse voices, disciplines, and communities, the event reinforced the power of slowing down as a collective practice rather than an individual luxury.
