PRIVACY & COOKIES POLICY
This policy explains how Creative Ally Limited collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our website or get in touch with us, and how we use cookies and similar technologies. It is written to reflect UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
1. WHO WE ARE
Creative Ally Limited (“Creative Ally”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a purpose-led talent agency based in London. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data collected through our website, creativeally.online.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us at levelup@creativeally.online.
Registered address: Soho Works, Shoreditch High Street, London, England, E1 6JJ Company no: 13356608
2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
We collect personal data in the following ways:
Information you give us
When you complete our contact form or sign up to our newsletter, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, and any information you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you interact with our site. See Section 7 for full detail on cookies.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use the personal data we collect to:
– Respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form
– Send you our newsletter, where you have signed up to receive it
– Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
– Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising
– Maintain the security and integrity of our website
4. OUR LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
Under UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. The basis we rely on depends on the activity:
– Consent — for sending you our newsletter, and for setting non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
– Legitimate interests — for responding to your enquiries, understanding website usage, and keeping our site secure, where this does not override your rights and freedoms.
– Legal obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with the law.
5. SHARING YOUR DATA
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted third-party providers who help us operate our website and business, including:
– Our website platform provider (Squarespace)
– Our analytics provider (Google Analytics)
– Our advertising and social media partners (Meta)
– Our email and newsletter provider
These providers only process your data on our instructions and in line with their own data protection obligations. Some may process data outside the UK; where they do, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are in place.
6. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised. Enquiry correspondence is typically retained for up to two years; newsletter sign-up data is retained until you unsubscribe.
7. COOKIES & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies to make our site work, to understand how it is used, and to support our marketing. Similar technologies, such as the Meta Pixel, work in a comparable way.
Your choices
When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Essential cookies are always on because the site cannot function without them. You can change your preferences at any time using the cookie settings link on our website, or by adjusting your browser settings.
Cookies we use
The table below summarises the main categories of cookies on our site. Specific cookie names and durations may vary as our providers update their technologies.
Note on analytics: the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 introduced a limited exemption for first-party statistical/analytics cookies from 5 February 2026. This exemption does not apply where analytics or tracking data also feeds advertising. Because the Meta Pixel supports advertising, consent is still required for our non-essential cookies, and our cookie banner reflects this.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
– Access the personal data we hold about you
– Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
– Ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances
– Restrict or object to how we process your data
– Request your data in a portable format
– Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at levelup@creativeally.online. We will respond within one month.
9. COMPLAINTS
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us at levelup@creativeally.online in the first instance. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and investigate it without undue delay.
If you remain dissatisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
The requirement to operate a formal data protection complaints procedure applies from 19 June 2026 under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. This policy reflects that requirement.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The version number and effective date at the top of this document indicate when it was last updated. We encourage you to review it periodically.
