Nike by You Workshops
Fashion designer and sustainability creator Lydia Bolton recently collaborated with Nike to host a series of live workshops at the flagship NikeTown London store. Celebrating the Lionesses’ historical Euro 2022 win, Lydia collaborated with Nike to create a series of special football jerseys created entirely from past season and defective products.
Alongside this, she held two upcycling workshops at Niketown for Nike app members where she taught attendees how to mix and stitch different jerseys together using a handsewn patchwork technique.
The workshop was powered using past season and surplus Nike products, and attendees came away with bespoke new jerseys all crafted to size.
Lydia had a brilliant time meeting the attendees and helping them learn a new skill. Collaborating with brands for live workshops is part of Lydia’s new strategy to partner with brands to help empower their audiences to make a meaningful stance against climate change.
