ELIZA ASKED TO PHOTOGRAPH FOR THE CRIME NOT COMPLIMENT CAMPAIGN
Eliza Hatch, photographer, feminist creator and women's safety advocate, is known for photographing survivors of sexual assault, providing them with a platform and empowering their stories through her channel Cheer Up Luv. This year she partnered with Plan International UK on its Crime Not Compliment campaign, in collaboration with grassroots, youth-led organisation Our Streets Now.
Eliza was thrilled to be asked to photograph 5 of their campaigners who have successfully fought to make the streets safer for women and girls.
The partnership aimed to celebrate the hard work of the young activists who have campaigned tirelessly to pass the Protection from Sex Based Harassment in Public Bill law. The outcome will make a huge difference in protecting girls from public sexual harassment, a cause that Eliza is committed to advocating for.
